John is a really excellent teacher and I would heartily recommend him for both complete novices and those who have some skills already. I started having lessons with John after a 17 year break from guitar and it has been a really great experience. He makes learning musical theory really easy and exciting and at the same time manages to structure the lessons around my musical tastes. Can't recommend enough!

John is a brilliant guitar teacher. He got me playing again after nearly 20 years without picking up a guitar, and sparked my enthusiasm and love for it by understanding what I needed/wanted, and teaching to that. He challenged/pushed me at the right speed, and also expanded my interest in a range of different styles of playing and of music. Big recommendation for others looking for a guitar teacher in London.
