Social Paws

I called Social Paws when my Oscar was having problems at day care. Tristan has been working with him, one-to-one, since and his confidence and his ability to remain calm around other dogs has gone from strength to strength! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Helen and Tristan are amazing people, really knowledgeable and caring. Can't say enough good things about them. Helen has helped me so much with my own knowledge of reactive dogs, and consulted on several of my clients. I've also learned a lot from watching her, when we have used my dog to help her customers.

I contacted Helen and Tristan for support in January 2020 because our dog was hugely anxious. He refused to walk from the house and if we had him off lead he would often get scared and run to 'safety'. Everything was scary, other dogs, loud noises, sometimes even smells. Tristan helped us to get him walking from the house again which was hugely helpful in the first lockdown when we weren't supposed to drive. Charlie relapsed again that Autumn during firework season. We used Helen & Tristan's services at least twice to look after our cats whilst we were on holiday. We received daily updates including photos of the cats, which was lovely and certainly more than we expected. We only asked for them to be fed and litter trays emptied, but Helen & Tristan stayed longer each day to give them some time and affection. Fantastic service!

Helen and Tristan are great providing complimentary experience covering everything from behavioural training to general puppy and adult dog training as well as a dog walking service. I had a very reactive lurcher and introduced a young lurcher to the household that displayed friendly but over enthusiastic behaviour towards the resident dog. No aggression, he just didn't "read" dog! I was at my wits end but Helen gave an initial consultation free of charge- and stayed far longer than the plan...
