Very comfortable with lovely staff

Was taken there at new year by member friends. Cosy throwback to clubs i performed in in 1970's. Very well run but same old reliance on bingo and raffles for extra funding. Probably more necessary than ever in these days. Good bar with great prices. Members are lovely friendly people.

Excellent, staff very friendly. We were there for a funeral tea. And they done a great job . Bar prices were very good.

It's a lawn bowling club. Don't know how you join or anything. I was there for a function after a christening and it's got what I would call a run of the mill function room. Can be decorated with balloons and tablecloths or whatever. Don't know if they do food but there was a buffet on when I was there. Usual bonus of a members club, cheaper than pub priced alcohol. Not a huge selection of drinks but enough to get by.
