Silkstone Golf Club

Good quiz night. Pleasant surroundings and good food. The room for folk with their dogs is an excellent idea IMO.

Called for a coffee and bite to eat after a weekend walk. Prices are very reasonable and snack food good ( eg soup, chip butty) and affordable. Service is really friendly and helpful. Will call again.

I played Silkstone golf course today for the first time, and I have to say that the coarse was, in my opinion, a pleasure to play, although a little hard on the legs in places this did not deviate from my enjoyment of the day. The paths and unused areas were clean and tidy, all of the greens were a joy to putt on, the practice chipping area and two putting greens were excellent, at this moment in time I am a member of a Golf club in Sheffield, but myself and a colleague are considering moving...

Best course around. Friendly staff and the members very welcoming. If you are local, there is no better club to join.

A thoroughly enjoyable golf course, even in the rain., I'd be happy to be a member there,, good greens, interesting holes and a warm welcome in the clubhouse. Plenty of hills but great views as a result 5 stars all day long!
