Another pleasant visit to a beautiful airfield with a fascinating museum, excellent restaurant and friendly ATC. Unfortunately on this occasion it was tarnished by the encounter on arrival with a very unpleasant and patronising instructor who was annoyed by the number of aircraft in the circuit and by having to go around because he was flying too close behind us on finals. There was no need for this in an otherwise very visitor friendly airfield.

Very friendly place, set in beautiful peaceful countryside. Excellent cafe facility. I've been going there for over 20years. If you like 'planes, talking aviation, it's the place for you.

We had Tea and Cake this afternoon in the cafe, very nice. We will be making the Aero cafe a regular visit. Very clean in cafe and Toilets. Excellent service. We may even take a pleasure flight. Cheers A.
