A thoroughly enjoyable education. Richard has rekindled my interest in photography. In particular by teaching how to capture in the camera ‘what you see’. If you are starting out in DSLR photography, or perhaps have not picked up a camera for sometime, this is a course you will enjoy.

Thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Richard, who was really friendly and approachable. He helped me get the best out of my camera by turning off auto and teaching me about manual settings. Nothing felt like a ‘silly question’ and despite being a complete beginner he gave me the confidence to feel like amazing photographs are within my reach.

My daughter and I throughly enjoyed Richard's photography course in Church Stretton - it’s a truly enlightening journey into the creative possibilities that can be unlocked in both the user and the camera. We could feel our confidence grow by the week! We had great fun with Richard and other class members too - can highly recommend this course regardless of any prior experience in photography.

Fantastic course, learnt more than I thought I would. Richard has a great way of teaching, very relaxed and a good laugh. I am still producing some lovely photos which really makes me happy. Really enjoyed the course and learning about how to use my camera to capture the photographs I've always aspired to take! Nice small group so Richard had plenty of time and patience with each and every one of us. Richard doesn't overwhelm you with handouts and data - the course is more focused on practical experiences of capturing the best image possible. Would happily recommend the course.
