A great place to visit and relax at Megs Cafe or learn to fly. There are various flying schools available teaching all the various forms of flying. A busy circuit means a busy airfield. A top class place for rotary fans with both Tiger Helicopters and Gyroplane training available. Swift Light Flight offers 3 Axis and Flexwing training. A large Gliding Club. Visitors who get a nice weather are treated to some great aircraft.

Had a flying lesson here. Was incredible and I was taught a lot. There is a lovely Café as well. A great place to take the family to watch the planes and helicopters! Amazing!

Well worth a visit. Excellent place to spend a couple of hours watching planes. Nice outside seating area and a good cafe. Interesting history as a WW2 glider training base and there's an impressive memorial near the hangar.

Another fab airfield. Super friendly staff in Ops and the tower, tarmac runway is in good condition and landing fee is just £15 for a fixed-wing single. A really pleasant location with a very relaxed feel. On a warm sunny day in particular, it's great for sitting outside watching everything going on including the glider towing.
