Course in good condition for winter golf. Good true, consistent greens. Got there early for game and sandwich and staff were great.

A very friendly welcome from the pro shop on arrival with a good hearty breakfast in the clubhouse with a warm welcome. Weather conditions were overcast with a good downpour after 15 holes, but this did not stop us having a good days golf ⛳️. The course was heavy under foot from the previous day’s ☔️ rain but the fairways were nice to play off if played clean off the preferred lies, as for the greens they are very fast for November and very true. All in all a good away day worth a trip 👍

Great course with excellent facilities. There is a natural driving range with several chipping areas (members and paying visitors only). The course is a great challenge for all golfers with the back 9 a good test of stamina when doing a full round. The first 11 offers a shorter loop as it finishes at the club house.

Fantastic golf course, some very challenging holes, undulating fareways which were in great condition and the rough will cost you a shot most of the time but it's not too much to ruin your round, there's a couple of good hills and blind tee shots which will test you and believe me you'll know you've had a walk when you reach the 18th! the greens are a good size for each hole and some are tucked away in great positions, they have some very subtle breaks which will bite you if you're out of pos...

Fine parkland course attributed to James Braid which and whose influence was more apparent from 12th hole onwards. Small greens protected by several bunkers. (The bunkers were full of a very coarse sand and stones which was not attractive). The par 3’s presented a particular challenge but many of the par 4’s were short and required only a short iron to reach the green. Many changes in elevation meant a good walk and I visited on a lovely autumn afternoon playing in shirt sleeves. A good membe...
