Just returned back from a week completing the Competent Crew course from Largs. Had an amazing experience with David Jack who is a first class instructor! Patient, extremely knowledgeable and professional to a tee! Excellent communication with Stephen prior to attending. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go on to complete Day Skipper. 10 out of 10!

My wife and I have enjoyed two fantastic weeks with Scotsail this year. We (my teenage daughter & I) have just finished doing Competent Crew on the Safira with Pav. She is truly amazing and we have learnt so much over the last few days. Our limited dinghy sailing was a long time ago, so everything was pretty new to us. My daughter isn't that confident and so it was wonderful to see her progress with Pav's help & guidance. We were lucky enough to spend time aboard Stelina with our marvellous instructor Pav. We went as a family of 4 with our 2 boys, 14 and 15. My husband did his day skipper and the 3 of us did our competent crew. The boat was just beautiful and Pavs touches made it really homely and warm. My husband has been with various companies in the solent before and said the boats were not even close to Stelina. Don't go anywhere else! I've had courses across the UK / Med with a variety of instructors. PAV is simply awesome. Head and Shoulders above any other instructor I've encountered. Exacting, demanding, precise and a fountain of knowledge. I learned more from Pav in a few days than on any other course, phenominal instructor. She and Stephen make a great partnership. Very professional and make everyone feel relaxed and in good company.
