Untrustworthy We purchased a ‘BuyAGift’ voucher specifically for savage adventures. Took forever to reply to emails until it was out of season (convenient) eventually he put on the event we had paid for. We tried to book, left messages and all went quiet. Was given a canyoning adventure as a birthday present and it was a really fantastic experience. We were fortunate with the weather and Pete was an excellent instructor. We slid down, crawled through and jumped off the gorgeous waterfalls and enjoyed the view as we went. Geared towards a range of abilities also, I can’t swim and didn’t have any issues! After booking a canyoning activity with Pete at Savage Adventures I can confirm, it is an AMAZING time! We booked on as a smaller stag group and it was fantastic slipping, sliding and climbing our way down the river. There were several areas where we got to jump from higher ledges into deep pools, which I’ll admit, did get the blood pumping that little bit quicker! Last weekend 14 unruly boys and an even more unruly girl went canyoning with Pete and Alf and they could not have been nicer, more accommodating, more professional or upbeat. They somehow struck the balance of safe and exciting just perfectly, and they are just generally top blokes. Plus Pete is outrageously organised and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend Savage Adventures! Went a few times coasteering in Rhossili and canyoning in Brecon Beacons with Pete and his team, and I was never disappointed. Always a fun and adrenaline-filled experience, and a great way to explore the beautiful places South Wales has to offer. Also love the thick warm wetsuits they provide, must-have for the Welsh water. Can't wait for the next adventure 😁
