The course was even better than we'd hoped. Andy was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the woodworking skills and tools but also the different types of wood we used. The entire weekend was incredibly inspiring about living a bit simpler and getting back to nature. We wild camped in the woods which really enhanced our experience and the structures Andy has built - kitchen, cabin, workshop and composting toilet among other things - were simply beautiful creations. Thoroughly recommend!

Sallerton Wood was such a great experience. Andy is a friendly and patient host and teacher with a direct but laid back attitude. The Shave Horse course was a lot of fun and incredibly useful for learning a few different techniques. We camped during the course and enjoyed some great facilities and beautiful nature. Can’t wait for my next trip down!
