I have been sailing for over 20 years and have done lots of different courses. I done a two day berthing course with Daniel at Largs this weekend and I would say this is one of the best sailing courses I have ever done. Daniel is an exceptionally good instructor and he filled us all with great confidence by the way he went about teaching the course. Just completed a week's Day Skipper course with Amy. Instructor knowledge and manner was excellent - she met us all where we were and helped us to use our strengths well while providing the right level of challenge we needed to reinforce topics we were less skilled or confident in. Daniel is a superb teacher with decades of sailing experience to draw upon. There wasn't a day I wasn't learning something new, whether about knots, engines, trimming, mooring, springing, navigating, or just simple sailing. Scotland's scenery, Dan's victualling, and the rest of the crew made this a really memorable week. The weather helped!
