Stunning golf course, with holes that are framed with Dundrum Bay. Not one for the faint-hearted on a windy day, so bring an extra few balls.

The best golf course in the world certainly lives up to the title, a real testing course with variable weather conditions thrown in for good measure. Great food and hospitality. A must play course for all golfers.

A little slice of heaven. Never fails to disappoint. If u ever have a chance to experience RCD I can't recommend it highly enough.

Tough course, a number of blind shots to play from the teeing areas. But golf is a challenge and Royal County Down is a fantastic course that will challenge all parts of your game. Yes indeed another golf course to play in Ireland at least once. On review after playing RCD a number of times, I say that Royal County Down is the bets course in Ireland. Its tough, exciting challenge and play the course 3 to 5 times in a week and you will have a great time.

By far the best golf course I've played if I could give another star I would. Had the advantage of decent weather but a stiff breeze made it more challenging. One thing to remember is to trust the lines indicated by the marker stones and you won't go far wrong on any of the blind tee shots. The stroke saver will help you if you don't opt for a caddy. Presentation of the course was superb and the greens were immaculate. Was worth every penny.
