Played in February, understandably course undergoing some maintenance but didn’t affect the enjoyment of the golf, challenging back nine into wind but good fun and well worth the green fee… our experience was let down by the non-existent welcome and some stuffiness in the air towards visitors, maybe an off day but has put the group off from returning. Maybe the welcome at RSG down the road set the bar high, that was a wonderful experience all round.

Typical links, you review it on paper and think you'll take it apart and then you turn up and get a understanding of what the wind is doing and you start to worry whether you will make a modest score at best! Its such a great course. We played it as part of a comp held by a well know club manufacture which made the day even more fun. The course was in fantastic condition. Good golf over an amazing stretch of land. The professional, starter, lady in the halfway house and clubhouse staff were all very welcoming. Clubhouse full of history.

As a visitor I played here today in typical winter costal weather. Sleet and heavy rain on the front nine and sunshine with blue sky's on the return. Inspite of the weather my welcome was warm and friendly. The course is exellent. A great challenge for any golfer and if you are prone to a few stray drives then winter is the time to play here as the rough is short and forgiving.
