About Rowner Community Trust
Dr Iain Lucas is the Chief Officer for the Rowner Community Trust. His role is to ensure the Trust enhance Grange Ward’s community well-being through improving the social, economic, environmental and cultural conditions identified by individuals and their communities as it is essential for them to flourish and fulfil their potential whilst being accountable to the community the Trust serves. Kim Lucas is the Project Coordinator. Kim runs the Gosport Youth Employment Skills (YES) Hub and Employment Access Centre funded by the Department for Works and Pensions and Gosport Borough Council. Victoria Smith runs the marketing (traditional and digital) for the Nimrod Community Centre and Rowner Community Trust. Victoria will be keeping the information on what is going on at the centre up to date and relevant. Carl Parkins is the Well-Being Practitioner for the young people who attend the Gosport YES Hub. Carl will be supporting the young people as they aim to move back into work, education or training. Daniel Brown is the Youth and Community Worker for the YES Hub and will be working alongside Kim and Carl. Daniel will support clients in creating personal plans to set attainable goals in the short term and explore long-term aspirations.
