I had an EXCELLENT experience at Rowallan Castle golf club. The Young lad at the pro shop was one of the MOST cordial human beings I have encountered in my life. To be first course I play golf in Scotland in my first trip to Europe….I have to say …I couldn’t ve picked a better one. I told my wife…I AM DONE WITH HOT, SANDY HOLYDAY DESTINATIONS…SCOTLAND AND UK is where I want to go…period.

This course was in amazing condition, every single hole was unique and strong, can honestly say not one hole was boring, greens were good, fairways too, only problem was we played off the white tees, so many well positioned bunkers. Stroke index 1 was 477Y into wind, what a hole, even managed to par it! The weather was perfect 23DegC with a decent wind. The setting is amazing too, I would highly recommend playing here, great course!

Your promotion video on Facebook was far from the true nature of the course, Tee boxes all burnt grass, Fairways and greens in poor condition. Your groundsman decided to cut the grass on the back 9 everytime we took a shot he was there cutting away, We had to wait for him to move in order to tee off!! Maybe in future get the hose out and look after the course. No bins, Litter and old tees everywhere. £35 pound a round and it was worse than a bog standard council course. Will not be back.

Good looking course with a good mix of short and long holes. Can be very wet no matter what tome of year you play as drainage seems poo. If that was improved would easily be a 5 star
