Great venue for learning, sharing your knowledge and of course socialising. No experience or previous knowledge required unless otherwise stated.

A very well arranged trip. The coach took us into the heart of Ely. There was plenty of time to explore the beautiful Cathedral of Ely and the Christmas market, as well as have a leisurely lunch. The day ended with a comfortable journey back to Bedford. An excellent day out.

It's a super place, and I'm so glad I retired early enough to make the most use of the BREC. A wide range of courses with enthusiastic tutors, ten mornings, five afternoons, a whole day, Arts, Literature, History, Politics... anything. Great staff always helpful.

An excellent learning facility. Friendly & welcoming-even has a cafe/restaurant plus regular trips & other events organised. The whole centre is extremely well run with good communication.

Bedfordians are lucky to have this unique learning centre, which attracts active and curious minds, regardless of their age. In addition, the Rothsay Ramblers walking group brings together a cohort of REC members who also like to keep physically active. If your looking for stimulating companionship, look no further.
