Played this week on a corporate/charity day. Course has held up really well considering the time of year and recent weather. Played off the comp tees which made the course challenging but great fun. Great layout and practice set-up. Greens were rolling well and the pins tricky. The staff were welcoming and accommodating making the day a great all-round experience. Great conditioned course with a welcoming smile by staff at a recent Open comp. Greens often challenging to read and sometimes resulting in putts missing by feet, not inches. However. Parking is often very limited but doubtful if anything can be done to expand.

Superb day out. My first game of golf for almost 3 years following a health scare in March 2020. A very friendly welcome from the club officials followed by a leisurely round of golf. After the golf we enjoyed a lovely 2 course meal that was served by very professional and friendly staff. A very enjoyable day, I can thoroughly recommend Romiley golf club for a great day out.

Loved the course. As you can see, it was sunny on the first tee and there is snow in the hills in the background, in April!! It snowed on me coming in on the 18th. Lovely designed course and a good challenge for any golfer. Nice and spongey fairways. Greens could be better, but they will improve with the sunshine. I get the impression it is a wet course in the winter. Good value though and will definitely go back there. I managed to get round in 3 hrs too and the course was busy.
