Rodley Cricket Club

So glad to visit the cricket club again after all the issues with the bridge and access causing disruption. As usual, great priced beer, super friendly service and nice entertainment with the cricket playing out with us watching. Loads of space for kids to run and play nearby without loosing sight of them and friendly customers too. A wonderful little cricket club has been developing here over the past few years. I have coached cricket at regional County level away from Yorkshire, seen some great talents emerge, some all the way to Test level, seeing what the volunteers in coaching and running the club, are achieving here, reminds me of the kind of environment that produces good cricketers. Great cricket club with good facilities and a great junior set up!

Right next to The Canal Arrived just in time to Buy a nice cold Lager before the Bar closed! Helped sustain me for my walk along the Canal and River! Usually an Ice Cream Van parked nearby!

Beautiful spot. Only just came across this even though I’ve lived 10 minutes away for 5 years. The cricket club looks great but there’s just so much green space to chill out it’s really nice. Right by the canal so an easy walk or cycle from Rodley or Horsforth.
