I do a lot of solo hiking trips so I thought it was about time I learned a bit more about winter mountaineering and winter skills. Booked a 1 day winter hill course for the 27/02/16 and had an amazing day. Learned all essentials for safety, self arrest and avalanche risk (and much more!). He is very experienced and made the day out in the snow memorisable. I felt safe under his guidance which I think is one of the most important aspects of a mountain guide.
