When arriving we had a lovely greeting being shown our table nothing was any trouble ordered food while waiting a table heater was lit and a fir pit to keep us warm. Food was well presented and more than enough to eat, definitely coming back in warmer weather, i mustsay cold weather did not put us off.
Property is a little tired and needs updating but has all the amenities required. It is very rural but has great views. The food is decent pub grub and prices are reasonable for the bar
Betty's pies are legendary! She makes everything fresh to order so ring up and book to save having to wait . On a diet? Her home cooked ham will melt in your mouth, with salad and new potatoes . Don't forget to tell the waitress to hold off on the butter😉
