Played here and joined not long afterwards. We were a bit wary at first as it has the reputation of being wet in the winter. I’ve played nowhere any drier than here this winter and it’s fairways are fantastic. If you’re thinking of playing/joining here you won’t be disappointed. The members are a friendly bunch and it’s like millionaires golf virtually all the time, no messing about with waiting on tees and putting balls down and no stupid five hour rounds which is fantastic. I was a member a...

Played here today 27/01/23 & to be honest the “green fee” of £25 for a weekday rate was far too high as we didn’t use a “green” as they were all temporary. So the “green fee” was a fairway fee. That said. The temps weren’t even cut shorter than the fairways. Nice course in summer. Shan’t be returning until spring. Not. VFM in my opinion. £15 max.

You have heard the expression 'you only find out how good and anyone one is when things go belly up!' Well as Captains day was approaching I was informed that they had a major problem with their kitchen which meant that hot food could not be prepared on our 3rd Sept 22 Captains day. Clearly they lost money on the food provision bu...

Recently played this challenging fun course. It really is a course of 2 halves. Leave the driver in the bag on the front 9 but you can really rip it on the back. The welcome we received from the staff was brilliant and all the members we met were friendly. Finally special mention for Rob the pro he couldn’t do enough for us he even got one of our clowns an ice Coffee!! Paul lighthouse society Wallasey

This course was in such a bad condition today. I’ve never played a course where all 18 greens were on temps. In fact I wouldn’t even call them temps more a random hole cut in some grass, nowhere near the original green. The temp tees were also poor, covered in gravel and mud and nowhere near the original tees some temp tees turned par 4’s into par 3’s which is just ridiculous. There was a £5 discount applied for temp greens but £15 was still probably £10 more than they should be charging. And...
