My coaching journey started after I’d ‘had a go’ at two triathlons and one duathlon and I did qualify for an AG duathlon in Romania. However, despite some underlying determination and drive, I had a lot to learn across the disciplines in terms of technique and skills. My husband researched a few online coaching options and a local coach who focussed on the mental side of sports competition. RacePace was a life changer for me. Whilst I no longer run with Rodge and his team when I started out in trail running it was LTR that allowed me to access a whole new means of exercise. I already ran but did road running and regularly suffered injury. Trail seemed daunting but Rodge and his team made it fun, accessible and demanding. I still trail run numerous times weekly some 6 years on. Can’t recommend enough. Cheers LTR.
