Traditional Hand Engraving

Description

Designs are drawn directly onto the surface of the metal, then engraved into the metal using a variety of steel tools. During the course of the lessons students will learn how to set up, sharpen and maintain the engraving tools. We will also cover the drawing and marking on the designs onto metal. It will be taught using the traditional techniques of the hand engraver.
