Ash is a great instructor and really helps build your confidence and understanding to make sure you don't just pass your test but are safe and comfortable on the roads. Enjoyed the last couple of months learning and a bit part of that is down to him. Passed first time! Motorway, country roads and London driving all very useful to build skills all round

I can't thank and recommend Darryl enough. He was patient from start to finish and his humour and kindness made a very daunting experience enjoyable. He was extremely reliable, ensuring I had a lesson every week without fail, and not only taught me how to pass, but how to drive safely and confidently on all road types. I couldn't have passed first time without him.

I would recommend Portland driving school to anyone who’s wanting to learn to drive. I had Darryl as an instructor and he made me feel very confident and safe while driving. I started lessons with them in March, and now in August I’ve passed 1st time with only 1 minor. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Ash is a fantastic instructor and I'd definitely recommend him to new students looking to learn. He is calm and patient, which in turn really helps you if you begin to panic. He has taught two of my brothers and one of their girlfriends before me and I younger siblings are also looking to go with him. All four of us who was taught by him passed their driving test first time.
