My daughter has been attending her lessons here since October, having come from another riding school, which she didn’t feel happy or comfortable at. From her first lesson she has loved riding here, the teachers and all of the staff in general are so lovely and welcoming and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you guys 👌

An amazing experience constantly at Poppyfields Equestrian, thanks to Clare I have improved so much, my jumping has gotten better and my connection with the two horses I mainly ride (Pudding and Blossom)has increased because I'm getting more and more confident in myself and I trust them horses with my life.

Excellent riding school! My daughters (5 and 6) started here a few months ago and love it, I have come back to riding after many years away having the girls, I’ve had a few lessons now and couldn’t imagine a better place to ride. All the staff are extremely welcoming and the instructors are brill. Safety is taken seriously, they checked my hat as I had been away for a few years to see if it was within safety standards still and they are always happy to help select the right hat for my girls.

Thank you for your feedback Tom, however, my instructor and the leader we provided have a very different recollection of the lesson that day. I certainly would never compromise safety by incorrect hat fitting. The hat room has a huge range of hat sizes and advising someone to get a hat from a stable on there own is not in any BHS policy. Correct hat fitting is essential. I even write down which hat was used, and deodorise the hats after use. I would have respected your wife's moral courag...

Been riding at Poppyfields for longer than I care to remember and have always enjoyed it. I was impressed that on my first visit they insisted on judging my riding ability rather than relying on my own assessment. Safety is paramount and my hat, body protector etc are regularly checked against current standards and for signs of damage. The instructors are excellent. One instructor may be young but for an oldie like me she is a perfect instructor whom I trust implicitly. Without this trust...
