Great studio , we rehearse for 3 hours there, easy to access ,

Door hanging off the hinges and the toilets were a disgrace. Needs some tlc! Decks and equipment good as usual though.

Edit 20/02 : I'm adding a star because the manager @ Pirate Dalston is lovely and accomodating. The Air Con in Studio 38 does need fixing though, and although I've told customer service quite a few times and sent them audio recordings, so far nothing's been done about it. In regular music/dj studios I reckon it's not much of an issue, but in podcast studios it is : you can hear plumbing drain noises and gurgling sounds every 15/20mns and it last for 5-7mns, sometimes more. Needs fixing ASAP. ...

Love the vibe in these studios. Equipment and spaces are what you expect from the website. Pretty affordable and easy to access — recommended.

My first time at Pirate Studios, I had a really good experience! The equipment in the recording studio's and podcast studio was all in good working order. The hourly rates are fairly cheap and probably the best priced in central London. The whole building has a good security system and it's actually a great place to network and get to know other creatives. We filmed a few episodes for the Wise Monkeys Podcast here and was able to easily get the recordings and footage from the equipment. W...
