Intermediate 6 week Pottery Course

Description

For those who have developed through our Beginners and Improvers classes, have a comfortable level and knowledge of working with clay, Intermediate 6 week classes are there to push your skills further and expand your ideas. These classes will help establish a fuller understanding of the ceramic process, the workings of the pottery studio and your confidence with clay. Refining hand building techniques, the finishing of details on your work, more advanced techniques for surface decoration and glazing. If you’re unsure if you’re ready for these classes email Lou & Nic with details of your experience and perhaps a few photos of your work. Sometimes it’s recommended to do a couple of runs through our classes before stepping onto the next level to ensure your skill level is ready to move on. 

Your work from each class will be fired and a collection of completed pieces will be glazed fired and ready to collect a 2/3 weeks after your last class.

Intermediate classes run on a Thursday evening, 7-9.30pm.
