It's been about a year since I started piano lessons at Phillip Sangwine Music. I am making good progress through the ABRSM grades and I very much enjoy every lesson. I got a distinction in the July practical exam and I am confident about the next one in December. Phillip is very serious about developing well rounded musicianship skills. At the same time he makes the lessons interesting and enjoyable. Phillip, Renata and Edward are always welcoming and it is very nice to see them and talk to...

I was not sure how I would get on when I started my piano lessons 3 years ago. However, in that time, thanks to Phillip's structured teaching approach and enthusiastically supportive and encouraging style (and not forgetting his what seems like endless patience!), not only have I learnt to read music and increased my knowledge around music...

Phillip has brought me on to a much better standard on piano since I signed up around 2 years ago. Very accommodating when it comes to changing lesson days and times. Excellent studio with 1st class instruments. Would thoroughly recommend if you want to improve with or without grade board exams.

Phillip has taught my son George for over a year. As a beginner it was daunting for him but he is close to taking his grade 1. Phillip is enthusiastic and passionate, clearly music runs in their family blood. Both Phillip and Renata and their son have welcomed George and myself from the very first day. Thank you!
