Had 1 instructor before Phil and I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with my driving. My friend recommended him and it was the best recommendation. Driving with Phil makes you feel confident and you pick things up really quickly. Not only does he teach you how to drive but he explains why things work which makes you understand more. I was a first time passer with phil and I couldn’t have done it without him! Definitely recommend. Most down to earth and friendly man i’ve ever met.

Phil taught my Son from the day of his 17th Birthday. My Son was lacking in confidence and it was a while before he built that up to eventually pass his test today. Rather than rush to pass, there were many many lessons to ensure he was ready to become a legal driver! My Son spoke highly of how Phil treated him with respect, dignity and patience. Having had 2 instructors previous to Phil I was not confident with driving and really didn’t enjoy it. Phil changed that instantly, he is so patient and informative and if you make any mistakes he explains how it can be avoided in the future. Phil is an absolutely great instructor who thoroughly teaches you all the fundamentals to driving in a fun and friendly atmosphere. If you ever made a mistake whilst driving he wouldn't have a go at you instead, he would explain what went wrong and what you can do to correct it. This way of teaching massively boosted my confidence behind the wheel as there was no pressure whilst driving and all the minor imperfections in my driving began to fade away.
