Strict searches at the beginning of the test (in order to prevent fraud), but it does make sense. Be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance. The nearest parking is at Lewisham Shopping Center (£2.80 for 2 hours).

Clear instructions everywhere, from entering the building to receiving your results, both verbally and on the leaflets, signs in the whole facility. I did my Life in the UK test 6 months ago, and having only 12 days to cram studying the book and making an appointment before completing my official application, Steve and all the team on the day made me comfortable and relaxed from the start. It's an old building, but let's be honest we are not there for luxury. In covid restricted guidelines, everything was clean and tidy, even the toilets. If you need to do a test, I would highly recommend the Lewisham office as they helped put me at ease.
