As first time dog owners we were really keen to train ourselves to get the best out of our pup, Parker. Neil's classes are small enough to get plenty of one on one attention and the content was really relevant to everything we wanted to achieve. Lots of recap helped in each session so we could ask questions after practicing at home. Parker responded really well to the training and we have a happy and confident pup. I'm sure we'll go back for more advanced classes.

Our lab,Teddy has just completed his level 1 scent course and Bronze level training. Neil is a fantastic trainer, making the classes fun but very worthwhile. Teddy has improved loads since starting and loves all the new challenges. Classes are small and held in a safe environment with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Have already booked further courses and would definitely recommend paws for anyone wanting a happy well trained dog.

We’ve just finished the 6 week recall course with our 2 springers. Neil was really accommodating in adding a place so we could do them both at the same time. If you’re debating whether to complete this course then debate no more. Neil is very realistic and stresses right from the start that no recall I said 100% but I can honestly say that the skills we’ve learnt with them both have improved it immensely. After experiencing some reactivity with our second rescue dog, we contacted Neil at Paws based on numerous recommendations. Neil has an amazing attitude with the dogs and treats them all with such kindness. I moved to Derbyshire with my rescue dog Bay in September 2021. Whilst Bay had improved, she was still very reactive with other dogs. Working with Neil has changed the game, with both of us getting more confident around other dogs and their owners.
