I am currently learning to drive with Helen at Paul Sharp School Of Motoring. She is a brilliant teacher. I suffer with anxiety and never really know how i'm going to be feeling when i get into the car for a lesson. That doesn't matter with Helen though, she is supportive no matter how i am feeling even if my anxiety isn't due to driving. Paul is a fantastic instructor, I was so nervous about learning to drive and as soon as I got in the car, he just completely put me at ease, he was so calm. He makes your lessons so relaxed and really visual which is fantastic, I need to be able to be shown things not just be told how to do them. I started my driving lessons with a big named company who seemed preoccupied with trying to teach me to pass my test and drilling in the various test routes in the Upton area. Said company’s methods where questionable and not transferable to actually driving on the roads and doing manoeuvres. Needless to say I failed my driving test.
