This is a great club and I love being a member and part of a fencing community. It's great to be able to learn with people at all different abilities and ages, and the coaches are really encouraging. I highly recommend private lessons as well as the group sessions. They give you so much confidence and experience of how to become a better fencer and what to work towards. The club also arranges fun activities, parties and camps which are really great. Thomas (12)

Paul Davis fencing Academy not only provides excellent fencing coaching, but coaches children in life skills and appreciating what is happening around them. During the last lockdown the transition to on line training was fast and efficient and provided the children with brilliant coaching with the ever friendly and supportive staff, this time has been no different. So impressive. Saluting the NHS supporting the local food bank respecting your co f...

My daughter has been a member of the Academy for three years and it has been absolutely brilliant for her. The Academy is a family which gives it's members of all ages (8-80 years) many life skills. The fencing coaching is of the highest in the country, with many of the world's best coaches leading the training sessions. Alongside this there is incredible pastoral and mental health support. The staff take time to understand and get to know each individual fencer. The Academy produces a fantas...

This helps my fencing because I learn from others how to stop and beat different tactics, as well as developing and adapting my own. The Shield of Endeavour programme has been very fun to do because it is fascinating learning life skills through fencing, like understanding empathy and importance of w...

I can not recommend this academy more highly! This is a club which manages to balance providing the right environment for those fencers looking to represent their country along with those fencers who are just starting out and looking to fence for fun. Emphasis is also put on creating an environment which promotes positive mental well being and developing growth mindsets which are not only characteristics necessary for the successful fencer, but are essential skills for all young people to lea...
