Played today, course in good shape despite mid winter. Winter tees but all greens apart from 8th at the bottom of the hill which was a little soggy were in very good condition. Very well looked after, must better state than many surrounding courses costing 3 times the price. Always enjoy a stroll round to blow out the cobwebs.

Used to be member years ago but some officious nobody who runs the hut has left me not wanting to return. He reprimanded me for not asking him if he was playing on while I waited at the first tee. 1. He wasn't on the last green when I was on the tee. 2. We were a 2 ball and he was in a three and 3. He had finished playing anyway. So no need to be rude. I should have pulled him up on his dress code. Tuck your shirt in!

Having been a member for over 30 years, and still not mastered the course, you can be sure of a good test of your golfing ability at Pastures. 9 holes; 2 tees per hole give a slightly differing challenge on each 9. Beware of the trees and the 3 par 3 holes over 200 yards each (6 in the 18 holes!) and the 9/18 th hole has to be one of the most challenging in the area. A really friendly club, good course, well worth playing and joining
