Park Foot Pony Trekking Centre

We had an amazing time here! Super friendly staff both booking over the phone and when we were there. They were accommodating to our level of rider, and would lead your horse on foot if you were a complete beginner. Ponies were lovely and the view was incredible - and they took photos for us to capture the experience. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone staying in the lakes!

Disappointing ride. I am an experienced horse owner and rider but despite going into my riding background in great detail i was put in a 'suitable' group with complete beginners who were lead from foot. No trotting or cantering, a few great views but only up the hill and back, nose to tail. Having said that, i certainly felt safe on my pony and the beginners in the group loved it!

I am rather disappointed to say the least. The website stated they cater for everyone from beginners to intermediates but this doesn't seem true. I am an intermediate rider so was looking forward to a few trots and maybe a canter throughout the hour ride. This wasn't the case as I was put with two other people who had never ridden before this wasnt stated over the phone. The instrutors walked beside us/lead rein the two beginners while I was placed on pony that had no go, it didnt response to...

Our 3rd visit. Lovely family experience, both of us and our 7 yo son went for a trek. Greeted quickly, given forms to fill in for experience, height, weight etc then given helmets and ponies to match experience, height, weight etc ( hence forms). Given instructions as we went along, lovely staff, fantastic ponies and incredible views. Can't fault this place, hopefully be back next year 😁👍😁

We went for an hours trek on a very windy Sunday afternoon, the instructors were brilliant and friendly. They gave us ponies that were great for our sizes and ability, we had so much fun on the trek would definitely recommend.
