Having been a member of local council gyms in the past, I was very familiar with that uncomfortable feeling you get being an older, overweight female just trying to get better. Just over a year ago I was introduced to OneTake Fitness by a friend who at the time was doing 2 or 3 sessions a week. I've joined quite a few mainstream gyms in the past (and then stopped going to not long after!) but this independent gym is just the best. Martin is an excellent trainer and can navigate around any injuries or medical conditions. I have MS and when I first started he understood that some things were harder for me to do and gave me alternatives. However, I am now so much stronger that I don't need those alternatives and I even go to some boot camp sessions as well. The other members are so...

Fantastic gym, it's more than just a place to train it's a place you make friends and discover that exercise is fun. I have been training here for awhile now and I wouldn't go anywhere else

I absolutely love training at OneTake Fitness. I’ve trained in commercial gyms previously where you were made to feel uncomfortable or intimidated by other gym users. Love the fact that this is a safe space and I’m part of a community that supports and celebrates each other. Although it’s a small private training facility the range of equipment is outstanding. 100% recommend!
