Omega Guiding

I booked Rob from Omega Guiding for a winter Ben Nevis ascent. Communication was excellent in the lead up to the day, the weather wasn't on our side but we still made it to the top and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Rob supplied the winter equipment and gave instruction throughout on its use. I felt confident and well looked after and appreciated the extra instruction on the steep step descent towards the end.

Rob was a fantastic guide. Lovely chap and great teacher. We were new to scrambling but had been up several Munro's before and had rock climbed a little. We wanted to get a good foundation of skills before going off to scramble on our own. He picked the perfect route for our ability and judged what to teach us to a tee. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

We had a great day climbing the Inaccessible Pinnacle on Skye with Rob. Rob was a fantastic guide and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Due to the unpredictable weather on Skye, we were allowed to reserve two consecutive days for the climb in order to to give us the best experience (which was needed when the first day was a wash out!). We will definitely use Omega Guiding again for our next adventure!

Rob the M.D. of Omega took my 12y/o daughter and me up Ben Nevis via Ledge Route as an introduction to scrambling for her. It was a fantastic, exciting and fun day out. Great guide, great weather, great day. Very easy to organise. Guide (James) went above and beyond by dropping me off at home after our long, rewarding hike. Will be sure to book next time I'm in the area. Cheers.
