Oban Airport (OBN)

A wonderful local airport run by wonderful and friendly people. Pleasure flights from here show off the regions stunning scenery and are reasonably priced. A not to be missed experience if you are in the area.

Excellent place to fly in! Very welcoming people and good landing fees and overnight parking for aircraft. There is a bus stop just outside the terminal with very reliable buses going to Oban village very cheaply. Oban itself is a very charming village, there are many bars and fish restaurants on the harbour with delicious seafood. Prices are excellent there even in high holiday season. We will definitely visit again!

Just had a round trip on Hibridean airways..Oban-Islay-Colonsay-Oban in their Small BN-2 aircraft that takes 8 passengers. This flight takes you over many of the Hebrides islands and is spectacular. The outward flight of about 30mins was at just 1700ft allowing a great view of the islands and coastlines. The return from Colonsay was at a heady 3500ft given a broader vista. Throughly worth the price. This was a schedule flight but the sell empty seats for the round trip for sight seers Defi...

What a great Airport this is. Try one of the scenic flights on offer in the Islander aircraft. A great way to see the coast and Islands. Excellent service and facilities. Great location. Perfect stepping stone to the Hebridean Islands. Great for both business and private flying.

Great airfield surrounded by stunning scenery. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. They have bikes available for you to use to get around the local area. Only thing that isn't great is the price of AVGAS.
