If I could give Derek six stars I would. He is very patient and makes you understand in a calming way. Derek is a very good teacher . I can't wait for my next lesson. I'm reading music which I thought I'd never be able to do .Big thankyou to Derek

Derek is a fantastic teacher; my playing has improved beyond measure thanks to his patience and encouragement. We switched to online lessons due to Covid but since leaving U.K. prefer to continue with Derek, he is an exceptional teacher.

My son is 14 and has adhd. He has difficulty in focusing when something is not interested for him. But he is is enjoying so much playing the bass, he found an instrument that he really enjoys playing and Derek is very positive in his method and encourages Miguel so much.We are very pleased to have found Derek. We absolutely reccomend Derek to anyone interested in learning guitar and bass.

Derek is an exceptional music teacher with a really friendly and positive outlook. His musical knowledge knows no bounds and he is a true inspiration to my 15 year old son who has weekly lessons. He is an expert in all styles and genres and will tailor sessions to your needs and musical taste.

Choosing guitar's lessons with Derek, was one of the best choices after buying my guitar. Derek is really professional tutor, open minded, with his positive attitude is able to encourage to work on one's guitars skills, even stubborn people like me. He is able to teach all sorts of music style (rock to classic's music ) or nice&easy songs of his own.
