On a wet and windy August bank holiday afternoon , I wandered into the Nottage museum. What an absolutely good move it was. Totally enthralled by the regular exhibits and informed by tales of east coast sailing history. A white ensign belonging to the king was worth climbing the stairs . The well displayed story of the Cap Pilar was superb , inspirational and I thought the personal insights were quite moving. All in all one of the best afternoons I've had all summer. Who needs the telly?
