Stu is an excellent drum tutor, he taught me a few years ago when I came back to drumming in my 40s. He showed me how to read music, tightened up my technique and most of gave me the skills and confidence to join a band and play gigs, and I am still enjoying doing that a few years on. Stu teaches with patience, encouragement and keen eye for strengths and also what needs working on. I’d recommend him as a tutor to anyone of any age and ability. Andy.

Great drum teacher that inspired my son to reach new levels in his drum kit playing, while also encouraging him to enjoy it! Thoughtful and conscientious, with a great deal of patience, he also has great equipment and is willing to go the extra mile, whether for individual teaching or as part of band playing - would highly recommend.

I took drum lessons at school but unfortunately couldn’t afford to buy my own drum kit or take more lessons. Now being 35 I was able to finally afford a drum kit and Stuart excellently helped me to bring back some of the very basic skills I remembered from school, and advance on them. Stuart is very patient in his teaching and is able to quickly adapt in the moment to hone in on my weaknesses! Stuart’s excellent and has made it really enjoyable!

Stuart is a brilliant drum teacher. Kind, patient, endlessly positive and very motivating, he gets amazing results from children, both in school bands and as a one-to-one teacher. He's great with children who have additional needs, too. I can't recommend him highly enough.

His lessons were always well planned and expertly delivered. Most importantly he builds good relationships with his pupils, with very obvious mutual respect. Stuart is extremely talented and combines his lessons with ambitious, yet attainable, targets and a sense of fun. All the pupils he taught made exc...
