Really great experience. Went up with Keith and we caught a thermal! saw all of snowdonia and got hold of the controls. Really was just amazing. Went back a few weeks later but the weather closed in and didnt get airborne. Will be back this year for sure

Unfortunately no flying today but the members made me very welcome indeed and even kept med busy too helping out with a few odd jobs about the place which was nice as it made me feel part of the club even though I wasn't, yet! Watch this space.. Ok having returned the following weekend I did get three flights and excellent tuition and advice. Again I found everybody there very friendly and helpful, if you want to fly I highly recommend this excellent club...

Amazing Gliding experience at North Wales Gliding Club. Very friendly and helpful team coupled with excellent professional skills. All the team and members were very enthusiastic about gliding ensuring that I had the best experience possible. My instructor, Frank, went through a pre-flight brief with me and then ensured that I was happy with everything before take off by winch. Wow! Thermals were not kind to us that day managing only 6 or 7 minutes in the air, so was given 3 short flights...
