Excellent teaching and support from Jim Barden, who takes time to explain topics in different ways with patience and good humour until everyone understands. Resources, including the Nomad website, weekly emails with revision aids and downloads of teaching slides are concise and useful. For the section on lifejackets he brought in several for us to open up and explore, and we got to set one off. Highly recommended.

Just completed YM theory through evening classes. This is the third course I have completed with Nomad, having taken Day skipper theory and practical 6 years ago. The consistency of excellent teaching and practical sailing tips in a calm and friendly group setting continues. A very enjoyable way to progress sailing skills.
