I am a beginner golfer and me and my friends were given out to for not hitting fairways and roared at as we walked up to the 18th green for slow play by the person working in clubhouse. We were finished in under 3 and a half hours so didn’t see how that was an issue. If u want to enjoy the game by all means do not play here. In golf most younger people say that the older people ruin the game for the youth and this course environment is a prime example. Horrible

Spectacular course which you share with deer, buzzards and very hospitable humans! A real pleasure to play your golf here - no matter how you play - actually, the more wayward you are with your golf the more spectacular the views become!!

Great wee day at Newtonstewart Golf Course. The course is in amazing condition. A credit to all the members. The weather was beautiful also. All in all a fantastic experience . Tea and coffee in the club house afterwards made the 50 mile drive from Coleraine so worthwhile. Hopefully get back again sometime soon. Would thoroughly recommend it to all golfers .

Some beautiful scenery and occasionally deer and pheasant accompany you on your round. A lot of work being done with drainage at the moment and greens have improved massively over past year or 2. An enjoyable round of golf with a good variety of holes. The course isn't overly long but can be a challenge.
