Newbury & Crookham Golf Club

Great golf course, greens were superb for this time of year. Staff were extremely welcoming. Will definitely go back.

I ventured out to Berkshire recently and found two great courses, the first being Newbury & Crookham. Its clear we are moving into the depths of autumn, the trees are shedding their leaves and winter shoes are a must but happy to say N & C was in fantastic shape. The fairways were lush and clear and the greens were true. Its reasonably short but a great layout with some testing holes. No par 5s until the back 9 and many of the par 4s not requiring a driver made for a interesting course manag...

Excellent afternoon of golf. The pro shop were very welcoming as was the club house team and the members that we spoke to. The food was excellent. The pro shop kindly lent me a putter (left mine at home) - the putter clearly knew it’s way round the course! The weather - sunshine and blue skies really helped. Will certainly look to have a return visit.

Society day. We were well looked after on arrival and post round food was lovely. Despite heavy rain the day before and light rain on the day the course was in excellent condition and a good challenge.

Great course. A bit short at less than 6,000 yards but some great holes and greens in excellent condition
