Nether Edge Bowling Club

This is a comfortable venue for folk music - the staff were welcoming and there was a good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. One improvement would be the installation of some lighting for the performers area.

The place itself is lovely. So quiet when sat outside looking at the bowling green and inside was lovely too. Why the 3 stars? Well, it was a dear friends Birthday party and one of the staff were giving the impression that they wish they weren't there and the amount of signs round the place saying don't do this, don't do that etc spoiled the experience for the ones that organised it (amongst other things that had happened) so because of that, they won't be booking the next function there as ...

Lovely venue for the gig I went to. Spacious and secluded.

If you want to go at bowls. This place has you covered. They have bowls and grass. Both fundamental requirements for the game of lawn based bowling. Lovely staff. Good prices drinks. Typical 'club' type environment.
