Nene Valley Gliding Club uses part of the former RAF Upward Aerodrome which itself is now closed for redevelopment. The gliding school can only be found by those who know where it is, as the entrance is concealed and in one sense is understandable but for the purposes of general WWII history it is quite secluded. The set up for the gliding school itself is quite organised and has all the necessary equipment for glider pilots, aswell as a clubhouse. My personal score is 8/10.
