I took Zoom lessons with Steve for around 2 years and really loved them. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and was happy to answer every dumb question I could come up with. The lessons were relaxed but I always learned something. In those two years we never had any connection issues - I was very happy doing the lessons online and don't feel I missed out on anything. Would definitely recommend, especially if you are interested in jazz. Cheers Steve!

Steve is an excellent teacher. I am registered blind and have never learned to play a musical instrument before. Steve has taken on this challenge and made it amazing fun to learn to play the saxophone 🎷

He has played everywhere from nightclubs and orchestras throughout Europe to busking the streets of Glasgow, Scotland, where he lives. Amazing and very versatile teacher, patient and also talented to teach both adults and kids. He can teach and play many diffrent instruments and musical styles but usually plays one instrument at the time :) He also has a lot of experience as a composer, a solo performer and band member.

Been taking sax lessons with Steve for a few years now. When I started I had no musical background and couldn’t read a single note. This guy is a legend and a fantastic teacher. Being a mature student I was really apprehensive about trying something new and had not had a great experience of learning music at school. His teaching methods are a breath of fresh air and he really encourages you to develop and play your own style of music. His knowledge is second to none.
