Richard is patient, knowledge and flexible with his approach. It has given me the space to grow organically, at my pace and unique to my connection with the instrument. Lessons do not feel like lessons rather like chatting and playing with a knowledgeable friend :)

Richard gives trombone lessons to my son. His lessons strike balance where kids feel consistently inspired and challenged. My son has learned how to concentrate in his lessons and his tasks.  Richard is good at developing rapport with kids. Highly recommended.

Richard has been brilliant at making me feel confident and relaxed whilst learning to play the trumpet, which can be challenging as an adult student. He is easy to contact and always gives you something to work on for the next session which is a great way to see progress. I would highly recommend his lessons as they are great fun as well as informative.

My Son has been having Piano lessons with Richard for the past few months. We are extremely happy with his progress, Richard is an excellent teacher, and we can't recommend him enough.
